Bodhicitta speech is speech that heals; that communicates the sameness of yourself and others, respect for yourself and others, rather than aggression, or, more broadly, polarization. The question you can ask yourself as you begin your day, where you make an aspiration to never have your body, speech, and mind separate from bodhicitta, is “How in the world will I do this?” I suggest contemplating how our speech separates us from others, based on seeing problems or some threat, rather than expresses that sense of sameness, connection, and wish to alleviate suffering in the world.
